Morning Announcement 10/22/24 Cross-Country

Revere sent our top runners to the Ohio Middle School

Cross-Country State Championship in Columbus last Saturday and brought

home some “hardware”. The girls team brought home a 3rd place trophy for

their effort. Ava Wells medaled, finishing 6th in the state with a time of

12:03 for 2 miles! Simone Albrecht also medaled by finishing 13th in the

state. Emery Fashinpaur, Julie Parsons, Jenevieve Boys, Ruby Blackledge,

and Hannah Eldridge all contributed in bringing home the trophy.

The boys team finished 9th in the state as some of our runners

struggled to perform, considering the heat of the day. Toby Shirley finished

in the Top 25 in the state  in 11:29 for 2 miles. Daniel Arockiasamy,

Camden Christensen, Joe Firca, John Long, Joe Shimp, and Jack Regula.

Both teams finished the season with winning records in the Suburban

League. The girls were 6-1 and the boys team was 5-2. They also brought

Morning Announcement 10/8/24 Cross-Country

The cross-country team wrapped up their regular season with four great

races at the Stow Invitational last Saturday. The Girls Team started the day

by finishing 3rd overall just behind Hudson and Solon. Two Revere runners

took home medals by finishing in the Top 25. Emery led the way finishing

12th overall in 12:35. Ava also medaled and was followed closely by Alani,

Simone, and Julie. In the Girls Open Division Berlin Chuhi and Allison

Papay had fantastic runs.

The top four teams in the Boys Team Race were only separated by only 11

points. Revere was 4th and were led by medalists Toby and Joe Shimp.

Daniel,Joe, and John rounded out our powerful Top Five. In the Boys Open

Race Liam Blower and Alex Birkner were outstanding.

Almost 90% of the team had a PR or Personal Record at the race so we

can’t name them all.

CROSS-COUNTRY TRAILS
Great Week!! Lots of PR's at Strongsville. Swept Tallmadge and Cuyahoga Falls!

Boys finished second in the Suburban League with a record of 7-1.

Girls have a winning record also at 5 - 2
Went to Kendall Hills! Checked out the course, had a nice hike and apples, too.

You’ve seen the hills now go conquer them!

This is not a course to set a PR, this is a race for position.

Pass as many people as you can by the end.

Woodridge Invitational @ Kendall Hills (CVNP)
PARENTS: PARKING IS AT WOODRIDGE HS ON QUICK RD. THEN TAKE A SHUTTLE BUS TO RACE SITE.
ARRIVE EARLY!           4440 Quick RD

A better option if you like to hike and don't want to wait for the shuttle is to park at Kendall Lake

located at 1000 Truxell Rd , then hike the Lake Trail to the course.

It's by the sledding hill on Quick Rd. , you'll see the runners.

Good Luck to Coach Neubert who is competing in the Akron Half-Marathon Saturday morning!
