What does a school counselor do?

  • We are professional student advocates that design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes.

What does that mean?

  • We collaborate with students, staff, families and community members to help all students achieve!

How long have you been at Revere Middle School?

  • I have been a school counselor at Revere Middle School since 2018.  Prior to joining the middle school staff, I was a school counselor at Revere High School.

Who do you work with?

  • I work with students that have a last name starting with A-K in 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

How can someone get ahold of you?

What do you like most about being a school counselor?

  • The best part of my job is building relationships that help support our students and staff!

How else do you serve the students and families of Revere?

  • I announce the home Revere High School Varsity Basketball games for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

  • Every other year, I travel with our 8th graders to Washington D.C.

  • I am an assistant coach at Revere High School for both football and track and field.

Where did you go to school?

  • I earned my M.Ed. in School Counseling from John Carroll University.

What is your family like?

  • My wife and I have three boys!

What do you like to do outside of school?

  • I love to fill my time with family activities, sports and outdoor experiences!
