What does a school counselor do?

We are professional student advocates that design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes.

We collaborate with students, staff, families and community members to help all students achieve!
How long have you been at Revere Middle School?

I have been a school counselor at Revere Middle School since 2018. Prior to joining the middle school staff, I was a school counselor at Revere High School.

I work with students that have a last name starting with A-K in 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

What do you like most about being a school counselor?

The best part of my job is building relationships that help support our students and staff!
How else do you serve the students and families of Revere?

I announce the home Revere High School Varsity Basketball games for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

Every other year, I travel with our 8th graders to Washington D.C.

I am an assistant coach at Revere High School for both football and track and field.
Where did you go to school?

I earned my M.Ed. in School Counseling from John Carroll University.
What is your family like?

My wife and I have three boys!
What do you like to do outside of school?

I love to fill my time with family activities, sports and outdoor experiences!
